In this role, you will be administratively assisting the Operations Laytime team in their daily work. The Laytime team looks at and analyses the time the vessels of the fleet spent their in ports. They make calculations involving both internal and external parties. This position involves handling incoming/outgoing invoices, checking of commodity contracts, and various other tasks linked to the operations process


  • Booking all incoming and outgoing invoices, both to internal and external parties
  • Updating various datasheets with Laytime figures used for analysis
  • Making any necessary corrections on invoices concerning, amounts, vat and strategies
  • Following up queries from different financial departments regarding outstanding funds and allocation of results to various commodities, providing any missing documents and information
  • Assist in maintaining and developing Laytime related reports for various regions
  • Ensuring all administrative processes run smoothly and follow up on this where needed


  • Strong administrative skills
  • MBO4 level of thinking, preferably in logistics, MER or office support
  • Cooperate with credit control, ensuring that payments are received/affected
  • Thorough knowledge in Excel
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Prioritizing, Accurate, attention to detail
  • Ability to understand the interest of various internal and external stakeholders and act in the best interest of the company
  • Knowledge of commodity trading is a plus
  • Has a proactive and accurate working method
  • Has the drive and flexibility to deliver a high quality outcome in a high-workload environment
