  • Support Risk Leadership, alongside the Risk Business Change Manager, where required.
  • Actively build strong relationships across the Risk team, which spans multiple geographies, to gather and represent their views.
  • Facilitate strong levels of engagement with Risk colleagues across the business and encourage their participation in embracing and embedding change, through coordinating communications, training, user testing and changes to business processes and procedures.
  • Proactively probe for continuous improvement opportunities in processes and work with Risk and IT colleagues to make necessary changes.
  • Actively scan the market and industry for potential solutions and enhanced ways of working to meet the evolving business needs, seeking guidance from the Global Head of Business Change Management as appropriate.

  • Any ad hoc duties that may be required from time to time.

  • Experience / understanding of physical oil, gas and power across geographies (desired)
  • Experience / understanding of controls frameworks (ideally SOX, UK CR) through exposure to Risk, Accounting, Audit or any other Control based function.
  • Experience working within a commercial/risk environment (desirable) within a physical commodity (ideally Oil) trader and/ or within consultancy / business change within this industry.
  • Experience of Project Management or Business Change Management
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in complex, interdependent scenarios, and situations.
  • Good communicator, clearly articulating key outputs and next steps.
  • Experience of documenting processes and controls
  • Ability to create high quality deliverables and outputs with sharp attention to detail.
  • Good influencer with the added confidence to challenge as appropriate.
